The Atendisk Recordings website has gone live, it's all uphill from here on in.Like I said before, this is all about Tasmanian indie music, feel free to comment, advise, despise or otherwise. But don't just sit there and say it'll never work, cos I don't believe you.Let's do it.....Tas-maniac-style...
Yes folks it's a blog... Everyone's doin' it so we might as well too.
Here we will try and keep you up to date on who's doing what, when and with who in the land of the Aten.
Tasmania that is.
Right now we are involved in a push to get Tasmanian Independent Music out there in the big world. First up is a tour to the Basque Country for the Euskal Inter Muzika 2006 in August where we hope to feature top Tassie Folk singer/songwriter James Brook & Co and the brilliant sounds of Echo Blue, the funky-rock-roots-reggae-soul trio who've been ripping it up lately down here in Hobart.
I'll be there myself as a DJ playing as much Tasmanian home grown as I can get my hands on.
